Cucumber Face Pack
This face pack will even out dry skin. To make:
- Peel and mash a whole cucumber in a bowl.
- Strain and add 1 tablespoon sugar and mix well.
- Place the bowl in the refrigerator until cool.
- Apply it on your face your hands.
- Leave it on for 10 minutes, rinse with cold water and pat dry with a towel to reveal beautiful skin.
Lemon Face Pack
This face pack sharpens and shines with its creamy, cool texture. You need 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and an egg white. Whisk the ingredients in a bowl until the mix takes on a soft, creamy texture. Applies to pack for face with fingertips; gradually build up a good stock. Leave it on for 20 minutes, rinse your face with cold water and pat dry with a towel. The pack will even out oily skin and patches, revealing a brighter face.
Combination Pack
This face pack is excellent for combination skin. Make a pack of 1/2 cup of drive, dry peas, mixed with 3 tablespoons of curd and the juice of one lemon. Then add 1/2 cup papaya mass; mix well. Clean your T-zone with an astringent, then use a cotton swab, dab milk around the rest of the face. Apply the pack and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse face with cold water and pat dry with a towel.
Eye packaging
Reduce swollen red-eye with eye packs, or combine different face packs for a full facial. Cucumber slices reduce swelling. Chill them in the fridge for an extra cooling feeling. Grated potatoes can shine like cucumbers, too. Otherwise, tea bags work fine on red, tired eyes. Take two tea bags and dip them in warm water for just a while. Place them in the freezer for about 10 minutes and place them on the eyes.
Pore Reducer
Fill an ice cube tray with rose water and freeze. Rub the cubes on your face on your T-zone to shrink pores and reduce blackheads. Use rose water cubes preferably during the day or just before bed. After a nice steam bath has opened your pores is an ideal time to use this pore reducer.
Face Pack Tips
Keep all unused packs refrigerated for up to a week after that. Simply wrap the dish you made with cling film or saran wrap, and you can use it later in the week for a second treatment.
